What can I say? Visually superb, on the condition you like peplums as much as I do since a childhood spent watching Macist movies and Jason & the Argonauts. The choke of spears plugging chests, slow motions on flying arms and legs in a blood geyser, only the smell of loins freshly exposed to the appetit of seagulls was missing to complete the portrait. Yes, the paint for it is mostly a pictural work. The image given of persians made me think of Mabden and Pan Tangiens from Mike. Realism disappears in front of hybrids fellows who could come from Lovecraft or more probably from hyeronymus Bosche. In a word, that was cool.
